Just a little neat bug.

If a Facebook user create a profile and the users Facebook settings are set to hide their age, a zero (0) is posted to age-field in Jcow. Then the current year (in this case 2011) are shown as the age... ;)

There is actually no tutorial.
If you have paid for the facebook connect module, you just go to the facebook connect settings in the Admin CP and enter your app id and secret key from your fb application. Then the buttom shows up on the frontpage.

Lets take it here....

I assume, you used the jcow pro-version and not the free version.

Make shure, that you entered your Applikation-id (xxxxxxxxxxx) and not the API-key whitch has far more characters and is a combination of numbers and letters.

If you are shure, you used the Applikation-id and you installed the version downloaded from the client area, then follow this tutorial:

  1. Download jcow v4.2.1 and the connect module from the client area

  2. Make a fresh install of jcow on your server

  3. copy the fblogin module to the folder "modules"

  4. Go to the admin CP and locate the facebook connect link at the bottom

  5. Enter your Applikation-id (not the API-key) and the App Secret

Then you are done....

hi
you do not need to reinstall a fresh copy

just download jcow4.2.1 from your client area and then open the blue theme and find the fb connect logo img tag copy it to your currect theme ... in about the same place do not forget the a tag as well ,,,, that is all

Sorry... Your suggestion migth be better.

I assumed, that he used the default or blue theme. Then the button should show up all by itself if settings are correct. It worked for me the first time. ;-)
